What is a corporate event?
At Southern Approach, we consider “corporate” events as any type of event or function that serves the needs of a company or business.
Mainly, these types of events are company crawfish boils or picnics, award ceremonies, grand openings, holiday parties, seminars, conferences and much more.
Corporate events is one of our favorites because when a company invests in having any type of event, we know that they’re valuing their company culture and bettering the lives of their employees, which aligns very well with our own company values.

The All-In Approach
Full Planning Services for clients that want extensive hands on service with our team throughout the planning process, and a capable team executing the plans on the day of the event.
From budget management and vendor selection, to day-of production, we will ensure every detail meets the standards of our Southern Approach!
We begin with creating a budgeting, gathering information on your event, and learning about your Company & Team! Getting to you know you better helps us set the tone for your event by selecting the appropriate vendors for your style, spending range and vision.
Once we have completed the “getting to know you” phase we will create a vision board for your event including a list of vendors we feel will help us execute your vision.
From there we will schedule what we like to call Planning Palooza! During the Planning Palooza we will meet with you and your vendors to make final selections on rental items, visit your venue, schedule catering tastings, and set up any other necessary appointments.
Includes a minimum of one Lead Planner, 1 Event Managers one Event Assistant for the duration of your Event.
Our pricing for this level of service is tailored to your budget and will include Event Management services.
The Accountable Approach
Working together throughout the planning process, you’ll have unlimited email access to your Event Manager for guidance and answers to your questions.
You will receive access to our online planning platform which includes our customized full planning checklist, preferred vendor list with custom vendor recommendations, budget and guest list manager, as well as several other tools to make your wedding planning process easy and stress free! This is our version of Partial Planning services.
Our experience will give you the peace of mind you need to perfectly plan the day before we take over the details and execute the event of your dreams!
Includes one Lead Planner and one Event Assistant for the Event for up to 10 hours.
Your Attendant is with you all day to ensure the day is stress free!! They will arrive prior to the start of day and will continuously tend to the needs of the couple throughout the ceremony and reception.
On-Site Event Assistance
Additional Onsite Event Assistance for Other events includes one Lead Event Manager and one Assistant.
Surprise your guests with a special gift when they arrive to their hotel room for your wedding weekend! Let us help you build gift bags to give them a true Southern welcome! Use our standard bag options or create custom gifts, We’ll do all the work and deliver them to your hotels!
Transportation + Accomodations
Assistance with booking transportation & room blocks for guests and attendees of your event. Management of Hotel room accomodations and transportation logisitics.
We will receive your Save the Dates and Invitations from your designer, address the envelopes with labels or work with your calligrapher to address them. Then we will assemble them for mailing and deliver them to the post office, ensuring that they are hand stamped and delivered to your guests in a timely manner.
Guest List Management
We will receive all RSVP’s to our post office box and manage guest lists and attendance for you, and then create a final report for you after the cut off date for RSVP’s and submit to your venue & Caterer.

- The Right Fit – We’ve gotten to know you a little more and have a better understanding of your personality and your overall vision of what you want and need for your upcoming journey. Let’s pair you up with the right planner so you’ll be able to fully enjoy the planning process with together!
- Planning Palooza – Ok, here we go! Get ready to dive right in and get the party started! Our team is fully prepared to take you on a fun and exciting journey and get into the nitty gritty of the details. Let’s start knocking some tasks out and get the ball rolling!
- Execution Day – Our favorite part of what we do! This is the day that all the hard work and effort pays off. We want you to embrace this day and not to worry about a thing – we’ve got your back and will work tirelessly to make this day one to remember for the rest of your life!

Our team is very comfortable handling communication from afar to help us stay on track and we completely understand the unique dynamics of handling busy work schedules, travel schedules, and the fun things that come with this type of event. Not everyone offers this service, but we believe it’s imperative to give our clients another option, which is why we’ve created our “Accountable Approach”. This approach is for couples who want a higher level of assistance throughout the planning process, but still want to plan the event mostly themselves. We’re here to hold you accountable by assisting you through the entire process!

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A VENUE COORDINATOR?
Your Venue Coordinator/Manager’s job is to oversee the venue and make sure everything goes smoothly on-site. We act as the overall Event Manager, we like to see ourselves as the CEO of your wedding day. Our main job is to make sure YOU and all of your guests are happy at every step of the way, and that ALL vendors are providing you with the best experience.
WE ONLY NEED HELP ON THE DAY OF OUR EVENT. DO YOU DO THAT?
Day-Of Coordination on “just the day” is a common misconception. There is no way to be fully prepared to successfully execute an event without having spent SOME time working with you and your vendors to make sure we are all on the same page. Our Manageable Approach services begin 90 days prior to your event so we have plenty of time to get acquainted with you and the details of your event!
