Our team has successfully produced over 200 weddings and events, making memories for our clients that will last a lifetime! Meet Christie –
Christie initially attended college at the University of New Orleans as a Theatre and Film major. If you ask her, she will tell you she wanted to be Julia Roberts when she grew up. But after realizing her passion for the production of weddings and events in 2014, she has cultivated her career in the event industry and put together an amazing group of Event Planners with Southern Approach Event Planning!
Christie loves to spend time with her husband, Aaron, and their three kids – Tristan, Leah, and Noah. She is a self-proclaimed crazy dog lady and has two rescue dogs – Donnie and Juno (the most spoiled mutts EVER!). You can usually find her drinking coffee and watching reruns of Friends and Grey’s Anatomy!
MEET HAILEY –
Hailey has been an integral part of our team since August of 2018. She started as an Event Assistant and has since progressed into one of our amazing, talented Lead Event Managers. Daily she works closely with our clients and their vendors, assists our sister company with design for rental orders, and keeps Christie on track when busy season hits! Hailey is a Delgado graduate and holds an Associates degree in Hospitality Management. She is also currently enrolled at the University of New Orleans pursuing her bachelors degree in Hospitality Management.
Outside of coordinating events with our team, Hailey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, dancing with Dancescape Studio, and cheering on the LSU Tigers. Her favorite color is purple!
MEET AMANDA –
Amanda started as an Event Assistant in 2015. She quickly showed her aptitude for running the show and became one of our Lead Wedding Managers in 2017. IN Amanda’s enthusiasm and attention to detail make her the perfect person to oversee the details on your event day.
Outside of coordinating events with our team, Amanda is a Registered Nurse and has a wonderful husband, Scott, who is also an RN at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. Together, they have two awesome kids: Riley and Nathan. Amanda describes herself as an avid reader and a wealth of useless trivia!
